At Lackner McLennan Insurance we firmly believe that equal access to services and information for everyone is a fundamental right.

The Ontario Government’s initiative of 2005, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requires all organizations, both public and private sector, that provide goods or services directly to the public or through 3rd party Ontario organizations provide accessible service to persons of all ability levels.

The AODA specifies five key areas for the development of standards and accessibility. They are as follows:

  • Customer Service
  • Information and Communication
  • Employment
  • Transporation
  • Built Environment

We have developed a set of policies and procedures in compliance of the AODA. For more information, please click on the links below.
